Join us for a Sunday of Swing dancing, great music and riverside views at the historic Doggett’s Coat and Badge on Blackfriars Bridge. It’s a wonderful setting for an evening of dancing, drinks and British pub favourites - with the Thames just outside!

This month, the evening kicks off with a fast beginners Balboa class by Simon Selmon (no partner needed or experience necessary).

You can expect plenty of great music suitable for Bal & Shag in the first hour, moving into classic Swing & Jazz for Lindy Hop in the second hour, and then slowing things down slightly with some Blues & Jazz.

5:00pm — Doors open

5:15pm — Swing dance class (no partner required). This month: Balboa.

6:00pm — 3 hours of Social dancing!

Whole evening: £15 cash on the door or pre-book for £12+bf

From 6pm (social dance only): £10 cash on the door or pre-book £9+bf

*Sunday 11 October is our opening night and we’re hoping this will be the beginning of a new monthly Sunday swing dance in London.

To help us make this event a success, we’d love you to enjoy your food and drinks from the upstairs Doggetts Bar only during the evening. There’s a tempting menu of British pub classics and plenty to choose from at the bar, so grab a drink, settle in and make an evening of it. Your support at the bar helps us meet the venue’s minimum spend and, most importantly, helps us keep bringing great swing nights to this fantastic location.
